Will you eat at Banoks, Davao again?

Yesterday, after a tiring yet exciting day at Davao Crocodile Park, our group went to Banoks to satisfy our rumbling stomachs. It was only 6 and my friend a Davaoena was a bit surprised to see that there are a few tables unoccupied. She found it strange yet I find it beneficial since this would mean we will be served with our food fast.

The moment we had our seats, a crew immediately placed empty glasses. Then another crew came to take our orders. After taking our orders, she recited it all again. We only had Lechong Manok, Tinolang Manok, Lechong Liempo, Tuna Belly, 6 unlimited rice, chicken chopsuey guisado and 2 liter of pepsi. It was thoughtful of her to inform us that we will have to wait for about 15 to 20 minutes.

After a few minutes, our food were served in an installment manner. Rice came first, then after a few minutes, the lechong manok and liempo were served. When they served the tuna belly, we decided to start eating.

They’re food was delicious which made us more eager to taste their native tinolang manok and chopsuey. When a crew passed our table we requested that our Pepsi be served and we followed up the rest of our orders as we are already halfway done with our eating. The pepsi was served.

All of us asked for another cup of rice as we waited for our food. We again, followed up for the tinolang manok and chopsuey. The three crews never returned to our table to inform us what happened to our orders. We already finished our food, with lots of rice on our plates because we were short of viand.

How frustrating it was to have waited for them to seve our food when they only told us to wait for 15 to 20 minutes! My friend, being the host, was really ashamed that her visitors was not satisfied with the service. She went to inquire about the food and to her dismay, the order slips for the two viands was missing. The manager was insistent that we did not order for such food. The order taker came and vouched that we did and that she wrote it. Then the manager said, your food is already cooked and is about to be served when it was cancelled and we were not informed about it. We followed it three times and none of those crew even cared to go back to our table and inform us.

Well, I’ve researched about Banoks over the net and this guy Jimmy rated Banoks in Lanang 9/10 for the service. I will rate Banoks 2/10. I believe that they have one system in serving customer and their system sucks.

MY SMART BRO

Filed under: Uncategorized — trishajjaranilla @ 3:50 am

This is what you’ll get to see on smart bro’s homepage. It sure looks great especially the exhilarating experience they promise you’d have from their service.

What is so thrilling staring at my blog like this. My experience with thm is totally different from what they are offering.

I emailed their customer service about the problem and a certain Celeste B emailed back asking for the list of websites that I cannot browse… we gave them a few that’s about 50 and counting… It’s been almost 2 weeks and no response at all.

Is this the kind of service that they’re bragging? I envy my friend who chose Bayantel, he’s got good connection.

Without you…

Filed under: Personal — trishajjaranilla @ 6:16 am

I love you… these words are overly used and abused. You may have heard it said million times from different people. Singers sing it and lovers love to hear it. Who can live without it? Even the meanest of mean knows how to love. Who can escape from the powers of the word love?

Loving you is not that easy, yet I choose to love you. I gave you everything though you offered me nothing. I give as you take. I’ve shown you in many ways how much I love you. I never got tired of confessing how I love you. I waited and hoped that you’d love me in return. As days went on, months and years passed us by but I never felt your love. I am afraid to loose you but there’s no other choice but to let you go.

I wish my heart will learn to forget every memory, every embrace, kiss and touch that we shared. I know, it will be hard living without you for you have been my life, you have been my all. As I say my goodbye, my heart goes with it. Keep it, in case you’ll need it sometime.

Face To Face With Cheater

Honesty is, as the song goes, a lonely word. Despite the element of love being present at a relationship, deceit usually happens. It is either you’re the one who is cheating or the one who’s been cheated on. Sad but true. Can you proudly say, deceit is something that is foreign to you? I wouldn’t buy that.

I have been cheated many times, funny thing is… I have a lot of “I forgive you” in store. Maybe this is the reason why “sorry” marked me as one of its favorites. Being cheated on is something I wish I won’t experience again. It really hurts and I know I don’t deserve it. I am faithful (honest!), so I find it hard to accept being deceived. I am beautiful according to my parents and as I see myself in the mirror, I proved it to be true. So I ask myself  “What have I done wrong?”.

If ever you experienced the same and asked the same question, the answer is simple. You did nothing wrong, it’s you’re partner. Cheaters prove themselves to be weak and easy prey for fleshly temptation. It’s not your fault that you’re partner decided to commit such unfaithfulness and there is nothing you can do to stop them. It is for them to stop and for you to just accept it.

If you can’t bear being cheated, leave him/her alone.

Whatever I am writing this for, I don’t know. I just hope I won’t learn the art of cheating.
